I love this series!! It's a fascinating world that Ms Kenner had made. Immortal warriors protecting humans without their knowledge. Fascinating science behind their mythical lore. And some seriously freaking HAWT guys!! I'm sorry Raine is still my favorite!! But Dante is not lacking in any means. And now we meet Brenna, who's going to help the HAWT crew- yes I call them that- to save Merrick. We all though Merrick died but a little twist of events could mean his life. :) dum dum dum...
I love all the guys in this series but I feel pretty bad for Dante. His love is human and he's watched her grow older all this time pining for her because he thought he couldn't have forever with her. Brenna is just as torn up over Dante walking away from her a damn decade ago! Wow- it's a long time with them being so close and alive. They have wonderful chemistry and the romance is down right steamy! I totally wished for the elevator moment to be... Just a little dirtier hahaha!
I have become a die hard fan of out Phoenix boys. I am always wanting more and I love the extra twists the author keeps throwing at us. I'm not sure who will get the next HEA but I know I want to hear about Merrick!! So with that 5 PAWS!!
